Iran takes its biggest U-turn yet on the nuclear deal, says it will abide by the rules
Iran has taken a major U-turn on its nuclear program. The Foreign Ministry has said that if the sanctions imposed by the U.S. and European countries are eased, Iran in return is ready to comply with the rules
It has been three months since the end of the 12-day war between Iran and Israel. Iran has softened its stance on its nuclear program. At a press conference on Monday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said that if the U.S. and European countries lift the unjust economic sanctions, Iran is ready to place certain limits on its nuclear program

Baghaei said that talks are ongoing with the three European countries and that Tehran is ready for another round of negotiations, although no concrete decision has been made yet. The spokesperson also mentioned the visit of the Deputy Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
He said that after the attacks by Israel and the United States, it had become necessary to find a new way of coordination between Iran and the IAEA. Baghaei stated, 'For the first time in history, the peaceful nuclear sites of a country were attacked and then inspected.' This is why discussions on safety and security were essential."
After a series of attacks and counterattacks, a ceasefire was finally implemented on June 24, bringing a slight reduction in tensions. Overall, Iran has taken a major U-turn on its nuclear stance, sending a message to the world that if punitive sanctions are lifted, it too is ready to comply with the rules.
